Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley on for a two-city tour


WBO Welterweight Champion Manny Pacquiao and his upcoming opponent Timothy Bradley are set for a two-city tour to start from next Tuesday.

The tour is meant to promote the upcoming bout between the two fighters which will take place on June 9 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The media tour will start from Beverly Hills, California, next week. In addition to the two boxing sensations, their trainers, Freddie Roach and Joel Diaz, will also join the tour. Promoter and Hall of Famer Bob Arum will be on the bandwagon too. The bout between the two will be broadcasted live on Pay-Per-View.

Tickets for the bout will go on sale from February 24. As per the details announced, the tickets will be priced at $1200, $900, $600, $400, and $200. The bout is promoted by Top Rank, MP Promotions, AT&T and MGM Grand.

The tour will start at The Beverly Hills Hotel on Tuesday, with a press conference luncheon. Following the Beverly Hills conference will be a luncheon conference in New York at Chelsea Piers in The Lighthouse at Pier 60 on Thursday, February 23.

Both the fighters will part ways at the end of the New York public conference. Timothy Bradley will fly to Bristol, Conn, while Pacquiao will make his way to Manila.

In addition, there is news of Pacquiao meeting up with Jeremy Lin of New York Knicks on Tuesday to add more thrill and publicity to his tour.

The bout between Bradley and Pacquiao is already being considered among the best upcoming bouts of 2012. Bradley is an unbeaten fighter to date with 28 wins and 1 No Contest in his portfolio. On the other hand, Manny Pacquiao is the current WBO Welterweight Champion with 59 wins, 3 losses, and 2 draws in his portfolio.

Manny Pacquiao is one of the most fierce boxers today along with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Timothy Bradley is comparatively less experienced and skilled yet he is up for the challenge. In his recent public appearance, Timothy Bradley confidently said that he will beat Manny Pacquiao easily on June 9.
