The Anatomy Of A Fight or as most would refer, “The Tale Of The Tape” gives you the physical measurements of a fighters advantages and disadvantages over the other. Only one will prevail when Antonio Tarver pits his athleticism, versatility and great defense against a young, hungry and power punching Lateef Kayode. But there is one thing that the “Tale Of The Tape” cannot give you, the size of a fighters heart, determination and will to win. And that’s where this fight will be measured.

However, history reveals that neither 43-year-old former Undisputed Light Heavyweight World Champion Antonio “Magic Man’’ Tarver nor unbeaten 29-year-old top rated cruiserweight Lateef “Power” Kayode will have a clear advantage or be at a distinct disadvantage when they clash in the main event on Saturday, June 2.

Tarver, who boxes out of a Southpaw stance, is eager to return to the heavyweight division, but isn't exactly ready to rush back to the big boy scene.

"People will see what I'm doing at 43 and realize that age is nothing but a number," he said. "I feel like I can knock out every cruiserweight because I'm too big and strong with my speed and power in this division."

Kayode is trained by the renowned Freddie Roach, who also works with Georges St. Pierre and Manny Pacquiao.

"He's a power puncher and very aggressive, and I'm sure Freddie will have him at his best and formulate a plan to beat me," said Tarver. "My job is to make sure it doesn't work.
